Our sponsorship program is for people who want to become more involved in a horse’s life, and help us continue our efforts in rescuing horses and providing them rehabilitation and sanctuary at Tina Jo’s Promise. The majority of our rescue horses are in need of special care, from extra feed and supplements to extra veterinary care and special furrier services. Maintaining and caring for these horses is very time consuming and an expensive endeavor.
Most spend months, if not years at the sanctuary so we can be sure that their physical health condition is managed well and, in cases of mental and training problems (sometimes stemming from being in abusive or uneducated hands) can be corrected. Many can be rehabilitated and live a normal and happy life.
Each day we come across new cases and would love to rescue more horses in need yet, we need your support! Please do not take on more of a commitment than you can afford. It costs the rescue approximately $290 per month to care for one horse that has a stall at the sanctuary and a $175 per month for a horse that stays in the pasture.
With every $50.00 sponsorship you’ll receive: A photo of your beloved horse. A record card. Your sponsorship certificate. Social media updates and shout outs.
Our recuses need you! Did you know that people who spread love tend to be happier and have a more optimistic view of life.
We are also happy to accept any amount for sponsorship, yet we do ask that you commit to a regular monthly donation. All monthly sponsors are welcome to come to the rescue and visit their horse, yet please contact us for an appointment. Additionally, we do require that sponsors attend a volunteer orientation before their visit. Volunteer orientation is held on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 9 AM
When you sponsor an animal for yourself or as a gift, you will receive a Certificate of Sponsorship, which includes your animal friend’s bio, and a beautiful photo!
You will also receive social media shout outs, monthly updates by email letting you know how your animal friend is doing as well as an updated photo.
